No one takes the time to appreciate how far dinosaurs have come. It’s a great demonstration of good science and a versatile mind. When I was a kid, dinosaurs were these big lumbering gray and brown things. We thought they were cold-blooded. We didn’t know what they ate, how they looked, what they sounded like, how they took care of their young. Some dinosaurs defied explanation how they could walk. Were they so big they had to live in swamps to support their weight? Was that Iguanodon’s thumb or his horn? Every book called them Brontosaurus, until they decided they should be Apatosaurus.
