Galaxy of Heroes Take Your Hands Off Me

Boy, you think having my own website now, I’d be doing more posting.

All right, the truth is, these stupid mobile games are occupying my time. I know, I know, this is nothing new. These days my eyes keep getting drawn to Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes and Marvel Strike Force. Gotta get my teams leveled up. Gotta get those characters. I was never into pokemon, but this gives me a glimpse of what they were into.

But I realized this weekend that the games were eating all my reading and blogging time. Not gonna make that reading goal of 40 books if I keep trying to get enough crystals to buy that First Order Stormtrooper.

Thank god I’ve started the second draft of Dwarves of Katie Elder to keep me on task.

In other news, I think I hate birthdays now. I’ve become thirty-seven, a four-syllable age. But all birthdays really do is remind me how few people I have in my life, or how much I really matter to them. I’m always getting pushed aside for someone’s softball tournament or Mother’s Day thing or pool party. I think I’m becoming one of those people who don’t like to be reminded of birthdays, who would like if the world just moved on and skipped over it.

On the plus side, I get to use this image now.
