This is the oldest picture I have on my system, according to the “date created” information: 12/27/1997. It seems to be some promotional art or fan art from Quake II. Looks like it could have been some kind of wallpaper, with its 640×480 resolution. I have no recollection of getting it, but I do recall using it in a “Quake Bible” that I was using for some fan fiction. But I do remember, at one point, it was the highest-res picture on my computer.
